Louie Alvarez is an educator from the US with over 20 years of teaching experience in international and multicultural settings.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from San Diego State University and a teaching certification from the Illinois State Board of Education.  His classes focus not only on memorizing grammar and facts – they develop confident, independent learners who can communicate effectively and formulate ideas meaningfully.  I aim to build a classroom environment that rewards curiosity, critical thinking, cultural sensitivity, and joy of the learning process.
